Jessica Lucas had a bleak beginning to 2013. In April, after several months of appearing in Cult (which premiered the 19th of February 2013, 2013), the show was canceled. The CW showed the entire 13 episodes in the season. It's not a pleasant experience to star in a popular series which is being cancelled this quickly. But on the bright side, it seemed the actress' career was advancing rapidly on the big-screen. Jessica Lucas starred as Michael B. Jordan's American wife in That Awkward Time, which premiered in early in 2014. He is in a relationship with her husband and holds clearly the upper-hand in their marriage. As a movie with a group of friends, most of the story is centered around the trio leading me, but Lucas has her share of the screen throughout every scene she appears participating in. She also dominates in her few scenes in Paul W.S. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. Shenae, AnnaLynne McCord, and Jessica Stroup were her co-stars on the upcoming 90210. She joined the cast in 2009 of Melrose Place, a rebooted version of the 1990s hit show. Riley Richmond was a kind and caring teacher at the elementary school.
